"We are here to serve you!"
Crie Haven Ministries incorporated in 2005 as a charitable, nonprofit organization. The Crie Haven House serves as a short-term, low-cost comfortable retreat center. Established as a safe haven and place of peace for the edification of Christian ministers, missionaries and other adult leaders for their personal rest, renewal, ministry and education.
Crie Haven House is located in Rockland's Historic District in Knox County, MAINE. This 1805 colonial home was the residence of the Crie family for several generations. It is within easy walking distance to Main Street and the working waterfront - including New England's largest fleet of schooner ships. Ferry service to the islands and traditional modes of public transportation are available nearby. Rockland, home of the Maine Lobster Festival for over 70 years, offers a fine selection of eating establishments, art galleries, museums, theaters, libraries and a variety of parks, lighthouses and churches. Annual Festivals, Fairs, Farmers' Markets and Craft Shows abound ~ plus Sailing, Hiking, Fishing, Hunting, Golf and other outdoor sports. Winter skiing (cross-country, downhill, snowboarding) and skating are a few of the many other seasonal opportunities in the area.
Local residents and people-from-away all appreciate "Maine ~ the way life should be."
